Lisa Bowling

About me

My name is Lisa Bowling and I am the director here at Pink Phoenix. I am CIPD qualified to a level 5 diploma in Human Resources management.  I have over 30 years’ experience in senior and international leadership, having spent over 7 years of this working in international arenas as an operations manager, and 5 years as an area manager. I love working with people, recognising someone’s potential, and turning around poor performance. This is when I feel alive and at my most passionate in my job.

I left the corporate world, so that I could have a better work life balance to spend time with my family.  My daughter, husband and dog Major are my world, and everything I do is for them.  


My HR experience includes 30 years on the job experience of dealing with employee relations issues in a leadership capacity. From having informal conversations to proceeding through to disciplinary, dismissals and grievances. I know the processes that should be followed, as I have done them many times. I know the recruitment process from start to finish, having recruited at all levels, from a sales adviser to doing assessment centres for management levels, & recruiting pharmacists. I have developed many people over the years by identifying their potential & upskilling them, through training sessions & projects. 

  • Responsible for managing 7 franchise partners, across 12 countries, +300 stores with a combined turnover of +150m
  • Area manager covering 42 stores across Hampshire & The Isle of Wight
  • International franchise experience, Retail, Office, & Pharmacy.

Corporate and SME knowledge, human resources, people management, time management, forecasting & budgeting, training & development, workforce planning, new business development, employee engagement, project planning, retail, pharmacy, franchising, international, retail operations, marketing.
