My Business coaching is for small business owners or anyone thinking about starting their own business. As a business coach I help you grow your business by, helping you craft your strategies for growth, setting goals, practical advice, helping you to make better decisions and build relationships. It is a process where we look at where your business is now, and make a plan about where you want it to be in the future.

Building your business isn’t just about the business issues, it is about everything that affects your business. Does your business reflect the values that you hold most dear, are you doing what really fulfills you? To build a successful company you need to achieve a higher state of performance, by demonstrating stronger leadership qualities, building trust with your team, and how to improve your focus so that things get done more efficiently.

What do I do?

As a business owner you set up your business because you love what you do, you are responsible for your vision and strategy and the execution of your ideas. When you are so busy with the day to day, it is easy to lose sight of why you established your business in the first place. I help you to take a step back, look around, and examine your current situation. Only when we have done this can you determine what journey you want to go on and where you want to end up and make a plan.

The catalyst for seeking out a coach can be one of dissatisfaction with your business, and wanting to do better. You may be feeling unfulfilled, and demotivated, not knowing what to do next to change things, or you may have too many initiatives and not sure which one to pick? How do you get unstuck and change what you are doing, or take your business to the next level? Will it make a difference?

Vision and Goals

Coaching can help you achieve your vision by setting clear goals and making sure that the goals that you have are the right goals. You should have long term and short term goals to achieve your vision. We look at the ‘why’ and whether these goals are in line with your company values. Knowing the ‘why’ is important for everyone, as if we don’t know why we are doing something then we don’t have the energy, belief and motivation to achieve it.

Strengths and Weaknesses

I am a great believer that we should focus on our natural strengths in life, which help us to feel happy and more fulfilled. We naturally excell in things that we enjoy doing and are good at. We could spend a lifetime trying to fix things that we aren’t good at, and yes I do believe that you do have to develop in different areas, but if you identify what you are good at and how it benefits your business, then it creates joy and meaning.

I use many different techniques but I love working with the GROW model, it is a great tool to look at all aspects of your business, and provides you with lots of different options that you can use to move forward in your business.
